Christina has a 12+ year background in Occupational Therapy. Over the years, she developed a passion to understand the connection between mind, body, and spirit working together to heal. Her journey began when she broke her ankle at a young age. The pain, loss of independence and time it took to heal made her understand the importance of her commitment to her own recovery. Discovering the mental and emotional connection through this process helped Christina understand that it’s more than just the injury, the “whole person” must heal.

Throughout her career, she’s treated people of all ages (pediatric->geriatric) with various physical dysfunction, neurological and mental conditions and disorders, ailments/illnesses from all socioeconomic and psychosocial backgrounds. She practices a variety of modalities and strategies to enhance recovery and utilizes “therapeutic use of self” to connect, build trust, and collaborate with her patients/clients for optimal health.

She also understands how beneficial human touch is to recovery. One touch, stroke, intentional sweep of the hand can completely calm the nervous system which then allows for deeper healing to begin.
